10 July, Ahhh..the weekend

First note, there was no post for the 9th.  Yes, that means I was a lazy slug but that's just the way life is.  Today we have lots to show from yesterday and today even though is it only nap time right now.

Wendy left at the crack of dawn...well, maybe a minute after the crack but still pretty darn early.  Oddly enough all the campers were already up and out in the driveway to say goodbye.

After breakfast the girls and I went over to Betsy's to visit.
Actually, they really wanted to see Drew before he has to go back to New York.  Only we can't admit that we really like Drew.  So we all play it cool and sorta don't really make a big deal of seeing Drew.  And Drew sorta stays cool too but, well, you know how it goes. 




We had a good lunch, a nap, and then some time coloring with chalk on the sidewalk.

After dinner we took a long walk around the neighborhood.  Everyone was so tired that they went to bed by about dark.  Isaac, Liv, and Ruby each slept in their own beds and did not get up until 8AM. 

After breakfast we went over to the Farmer's Market and bought corn on the cob, pickling cucumbers, and a pint of blueberries.  Liv carried the latter.  Oddly enough, by the time we got home the blueberries would hardly fill a cup and the campers all had blue tongues.  I'm still scratching my head about that!  Next we went fishing on the Sara C.

 After fishing we did an iChat with Chris

and then Skype'd with Ben and Wilma








Finally we had lunch and headed off for nap time...or quiet time if you are a big camper who does not take a nap.

 Tonight is Movie Night.  Not sure what we will watch from Netflicks but it will be a family friendly something or other.  The campers have been reminding me of Movie Night for the past two days!
