11 July, Sherbert rules!

OK, I'm skipping ahead of myself with that title.  Let's go back to yesterday when we got up from naps and had a porch party with some neighbors.

This went on until it was almost dark and time for dinner.  By the time we finished eating most eyelids were getting heavy and it was not long before everyone was snuggled into bed.

Today we started to walk to the park in order to kick the ball but we met up with neighbors who decided to go with us.  First we had to scratch Lucy's belly.  What fun!

When we got to the playground we had to do some sliding, swinging, jumping, and other fun stuff.

After  all that excitement we just had time for lunch and a nap.  After the nap Sara took Liv to the mall for some girl shopping.  Ruby, Isaac, and Grandad stuck around and made the best of our time together.  This is when we discovered how wonderful Sherbert can be.  It's an almost forgotten summer treat that is actually healthier than ice cream.  The kids loved the sherbert.
Liv came home with a bunch of new clothes and some new shoes.  Tomorrow Sara will do the same for Ruby.  We also have swimming lessons tomorrow so it promises to be a large day.  We can hardly wait.
