Yes, it's hot here in Portsmouth. We started the day with the normal stuff...breakfast, reading and garden. Then we went to Story Hour. Today the stories were all about pirates. We had a great time until the very end when Isaac suddenly got tired and cranky. Last night Isaac did not get to sleep until very late so he paid the price today. At least he got a good nap after lunch. Taking a nap was much better than trying to play outside because it was so very hot.
Once again we went to swimming lessons at the YMCA. Getting into the pool was a delight since it was much cooler than anywhere else. Isaac has a new bathing suit and he loves it.
The teacher is working on getting the children to put their face in the water and blow bubbles, then putting the face in the water while kicking. We will probably do more of the same tomorrow. Liv and Ruby should be in swimming lessons tomorrow too so we will have a very large day indeed.
